For the longest time, we sisters have talked about starting a blog together.  While we have a lot in common, we also have some very different loves.  We always joke that together we make the perfect crafting superhero, hence the name DIYnamic Duo.  Here’s a little more about us:

Jen is a high-school biology teacher in Charlottesville, Virginia.  When she’s not busy molding the mind’s of America’s youth, she is in her craft room knitting, sewing, spinning, felting, or conducting some kind of other crafting tomfoolery.  In addition to her love of craft, she also loves her animals (chocolate labby-Bean, crazy border collie-Sadie, cats-Thad, Georgia, & Addi, Angora Rabbits-Sweat Pea, Snowball, & BunBun, and chickens-Thelma, Louise, Ethl & Lucy) and riding her bicycle across large land masses (www.takingtheworldbysaddle.com).  Her DH and partner-in-crime, Todd, is a computer programmer and woodworking enthusiast.

Jaryn works at a large food company that shall go unnamed in marketing research. She currently lives in Minneapolis, MN. When she’s not slaving away at her computer all day, she’s cooking, baking, or traveling somewhere fun. She’s single and searching for Mr. Right.

You will never catch me in a pair of high heels. Mainly because I might kill myself.

I love clothes and accessories, especially statement necklaces.

My favorite color is turquoise and it’s all over my apartment.

It’s my dream to open a bakery and to have a book published.

I could think of nothing better than getting paid to travel and eat food.
